Was a steady force for the 6A champions, capable of strong defense but also came up for free kicks. Five goals, one assist.

KAYLEE FOSTER

SOPHOMORE | OCEAN SPRINGS

Had 23 goals and six assists (52 points) from a defensive role for the 6A runner-up Lady Greyhounds.

SARAH GILLILAND

SENIOR | NORTHWEST RANKIN

Allowed only 10 goals all season to help lead the Lady Cougars to be 6A state champions for the first time.

A midfielder, Jones had 28 goals and four assists (60 points) for the 6A semifinalists.

Popped in 17 goals, but her 24 helpers really stood out for the MAIS D-1 champion Lady Raiders.

Had 51 goals, among the tops in the state, and 18 assists (120 points) for the 5A champions.

MAGGIE OVERBY

SENIOR | MADISON CENTRAL

The midfielder had 26 goals and 11 assists (63 points) for the 6A semifinalist Lady Jaguars.

MARY MARGARET PARKER

SENIOR | SACRED HEART

Had 22 goals and seven assists (51 total points), leading the team to the 1A-2A-3A state championship.

KATE RUSSELL SNOPEK

SENIOR | MADISON CENTRAL

Played some of the best defense in the state along the back line for the Lady Jaguars, added nine points.

SAVANNA YOUNG

JUNIOR | RICHLAND

Had 52 goals, nearly the best in the state, with 19 more assists (123 points) for the 4A runner-ups.

Had 24 goals and 16 assists (64 points) for a team that advanced to the 5A quarterfinals.

SENIOR | WEST LAUDERDALE

Had five goals and four assists while playing in the defense for the 4A state champions.

SENIOR | BRANDON

Played in a back-line defense role for the Lady Bulldogs, added five points (including two goals).

Allowed only 12 goals all season for the Lady Jaguars, which made it to the 6A semifinals.

NORTHWEST RANKIN

Joseph arrived from Jackson State and immediately went about building Northwest Rankin into a state championship-winning team. The Lady Cougars outscored their opponents 94-10 while finishing 21-2 and winning their first state title.
